Due to the fragile nature of her Alcohol-Ink pieces Laoise has introduced high quality Giclee limited edition prints. Most editions will be limited to only 25 prints in each size. There will be 1, 2 or 3 sizes available depending on the print. Each will be signed, numbered, and certified. All prints are produced in Ireland.
They are printed on Hahnemuhle German Etching which is velvety smooth with a fine surface texture. It is a cellulose paper and this helps guarantee archival standards. Hahnemuhle German Etching is a 310gsm paper. Each one is certified, signed and nubered- this guarantees the quality and edition number.
Saturated with colour these inks dry in seconds and reactivate when they come in contact with another ink or solution. They are difficult to control, the art created with them is fluid and rich in colour and layers making each one unique. They are fragile so I chose to do a limited run of prints to guarantee quality over time.
