I sell limited edition giclee prints produced in Ireland using the highest quality museum standard paper and archival inks. Each of these prints are stamped and certified so you are 100% sure of the quality and edition number.
Prints are produced in collection called editions. Every edition contains a number of prints. Unlike unlimited edition prints (also known as open editions), that can be reproduced an infinite number of times, limited editions are (as their name suggests) made in limited amounts. The smaller the amount in the edition the rarer the print will be and therefore more collectable. I generally run up to two to three size options of a print with 25 prints in each size.
It means that the artist and printer have an agreement with Digigraphie that the quality will be consistantly high and that only the agreed number of prints will be produced. Everytime one is printed it's scanned during the process and sent to Digrigraphie for their records. The print in then stamped and the certificate is produced and stamped for each individual print. The quality of the print is guarenteed and it will hold it's value into the future.

The orders are processed by the artist and dispatched usually within 48hrs of ordering.
In my case a lot of the original art is not for sale at all because of it's fragile nature. Alcohol Inks are tricky to seal without covering them in a layer of resin and for me that changes the artwork significantly. The inks are also quite new so I can't guarentee the quality of the original in 20-40 years. The giclee limited edition prints are quarenteed for at least 60 years and are acid free.
