“Studio L” is the online gallery of Laoise Nugent-Burke.

On her site you will find Original Art that is both Modern and Timeless. Laoise has worked for over nineteen years as an artist/designer and each piece she produces is a design statement as well as a painting or illustration.

Growing up around the Phoenix Park with it's flower gardens and open spaces Laoise has always had a strong connection with the natural world.

Combine this with a childhood full of Irish Folklore and Culture, summers spent  discovering Ireland with her family and bedtime stories of the Fianna and all the Irish Legends, it's no surprise that she turned to Celtic Art. Having designed Irish Dancing Costumes for one of Ireland's leading dressmakers for 5 years she has no shortage of experience in this field.

Laoise is constantly trying new mediums and techniques and is no stranger at NCAD where she studied for her Diploma in Art and Design. This with her Graphic Design background give her art a distinctively clean and fresh style which appeals to a wide audience. Each piece exudes energy and vibrancy evoking pleasure and sensuality. Her art is extremely sought after with pieces held in both private and corporate  collections at home and overseas.
